Presidential Medal of Freedom Tribute to Jackie Kennedy

Presidential Medal of Freedom - John F. Kennedy Tribute - On Wednesday, November 9, the morning after Election Day, at about 11:00 am, John F. Kennedy finally won election. The entire family of Kennedys and in-laws was present and I realized that this would be the one and only time to take a historic family portrait. After pleading with Ambassador Joseph P. Kennedy he finally recognized the moment as well and ordered everyone to assemble in the library. Standing from left are: Ethel Skakel Kennedy, Stephen E. Smith, Jean Kennedy Smith, JFK, Robert F. Kennedy, Patricia Kennedy Lawford, Joan Bennett Kenndy, Peter Lawford. Sitting from left: Eunice Kennedy Shriver, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy, Joseph P. Kennedy, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, Edward Moore Kennedy, and Sargent Shriver.
